Brief description of fishery:
This is a tributary of the River Avon and consists of a mixture of shallow runs and deeper pools suitable for roving techniques. Some areas are heavily shrub lined and undergrowth may need cutting to access river.
Ensure that ALL gates are kept closed after use. Major unauthorised maintenance work is strictly forbidden. Light pruning for river access is acceptable.
Key Points:
Fishing dawn to dusk only. Night Fishing NOT allowed
All trout and grayling to be returned.
Park so as not to cause obstruction.
Take care when exiting onto the B439.
Take care when wading.
Access middle of venue.
Off the B439 Salford Road.
For upper stretch left bank, 530 feet from roundabout, opposite the entrance to the Sewerage Works. Gate lies back from road leading to plenty of parking in the field. Park so as not to obstruct access to the gate.
