Brief description of fishery:
The venue consists of right bank approx 871yds from below Alpine View up to just around the bend. Left bank approximately 1550yds from above Alpine Bridge to well above the bend in the river.
A small River with a mixture of shallow and deeper holes. This stretch is suitable for fly fishing all year round. Once mid September arrives, standard coarse fishing tactics come into their own
Main species: Trout, grayling, chub, dace. Trout Season 3rd March to 25th October Accessibility average.
Key Points: Barbless hooks when fly fishing, all trout and grayling to be returned. Coarse fishing allowed between 15th September to 14th March inclusive. Park so as not to cause obstruction. Take care when wading

Access & Parking
Access is from the car park below Alpine View. OS reference SO092633. Take the A483 from
Crossgates towards Llandrindod Wells. After about 700yds you will see a Church on the right and a lay bye on the left, take the next left turn just before the river bridge. Alpine view is 1370yds down the road. Parking is just past the house on the right. The gate in the middle of the parking area is the access
