110 – Winterfold Farm Pools

Brief description of fishery:

This established fishery consists of three pools. Pool 1 could accommodate up to six anglers whilst the larger Pool 2 could accommodate up to fifteen anglers. Pool 3 has more weed growth and offers more of a challenge. It will be possible to park a number of cars around the outside of Pools 1 & 2 although care must be taken not to block use of the track by farm vehicles.
Parking must be on the opposite side of the track to the pool, not at the water’s edge. Do not slam doors and spoil other anglers’ enjoyment. Pool 1 is 2-4 feet deep containing crucians, tench and silvers. Pool 2 is 2-6 feet deep containing decent sized carp and bream plus other silvers.Pool 3 is 2-6 feet deep containing a similar mixture to Pool 2. Pool 3 may occasionally be out of bounds due to the air rifle range. The owners make regular visits to the pool and will ask for your membership card.
Key points: No keepnets. Barbless hooks only. Up to two rods may be used all year round. Fishing from dawn, until one hour after dusk. No night fishing. Cars may only be parked around the outside of Pool 1 & 2 provided there access is left along the track. Members must have their membership cards with them. UNHOOKING MATS MUST BE USED AT ALL TIMES
