Brief description of fishery:
Three meadows of 1035yds left bank consisting of shallows and deeps. Good all round middle Severn fishery which has yielded double figure barbel and large chub.
Main species: Chub, barbel, roach, dace, pike, eel.

Access & Parking
There is parking on the industrial estate road below (SO 753842) and above the barrier (SO 755843). Go past the church down Vicarage Bank and turn first left at the open fields driving down the lane to the industrial estate.
Alternatively there is parking for 6 cars at Severndale. Instead of turning towards the industrial estate continue down the lane for 956yd alongside the fields past the Hadleys on the left and then take the next left turn at the gateway continuing to the bottom of the drive. Parking is on the right hand side of the track near the house. Severndale SO 745850. There is no overnight parking at Severndale and no parking in the courtyard in front of the house. Please display your WSP parking Permit. Please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum, especially early morning and late evening.
There is plenty of parking on the Country Park Visitor’s Centre. But this is the longest and steepest walk to get to the river. Turn off down the lane opposite the chapel following the sign for the Country Park. Beware of the sharp left hand bend. When you reach the gateway (SO 757837) turn onto the driveway and drive along until the car parks are reached SO 753840. Additional access and parking from Highley via Barke street, down past the Caravan Park and Golf Club to the parking area by the Severn Valley Railway line. OS reference SO 748837. Be aware of trains when crossing the track if parking on the Highley side of the River. Cars can be vulnerable if left here.
Accessibility: Good from Severndale car park, but a long walk and steep climb from parking areas at Country Park and Highley.
